  • 6 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (divided)
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Let cool and crumble.
  3. In the same skillet, brown the ground beef with garlic powder and paprika. Drain excess grease.
  4. In a large bowl, mix crumbled bacon, cooked beef, eggs, heavy cream, half of the cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper until combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.
