  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • 15 oz canned tomato sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. (Optional) Sear meatballs in a skillet with olive oil until browned on all sides.
  4. Place meatballs in a slow cooker and pour tomato sauce and beef broth over them. Stir gently to coat.
