Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually mix in ice water until a dough forms. Divide into two disks, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Roll each disk on a floured surface to about 1/8-inch thickness. Cut out circles using a round cutter.
- Spoon filling onto one half of each circle and fold over the other half. Crimp edges to seal securely.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place hand pies on parchment-lined baking sheets and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
