  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped (for garnish)
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey or brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil until well combined.
  3. Marinate the chicken pieces in the mixture for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with a splash of oil. Add marinated chicken and sauté until golden brown and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes).
  5. Pour any remaining marinade into the skillet and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
