Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade by whisking together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and lime juice in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Marinate the salmon fillets in half of the marinade for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Remove salmon from marinade (discard used marinade) and place skin-side down on a greased grill or baking sheet.
  5. Cook for about 6-8 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. In the last few minutes of cooking, baste with remaining marinade to create a glossy glaze.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
