  • 8 oz ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup freshly chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat; add olive oil. Season steak with salt and pepper, then sear for 4-5 minutes per side until desired doneness. Remove and let rest.
  2. In the same skillet, add more olive oil if needed, then sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Meanwhile, cook the tortellini in salted boiling water according to package instructions (about 3-5 minutes).
  4. Drain tortellini and add to the skillet with garlic; toss in chopped parsley and grated Parmesan until well combined.
  5. Slice rested steak against the grain into thin strips and serve over the tortellini mixture, garnished with additional parsley and Parmesan.
