  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet; add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  5. Slowly pour in heavy cream while stirring, then whisk in parmesan cheese until melted.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over each piece. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Plate the chicken with extra sauce drizzled on top and serve alongside pasta or veggies.
