- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
- Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels; season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each piece of chicken in flour, shaking off excess.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken until golden brown on both sides (about 6-7 minutes per side).
- Remove chicken from skillet; set aside. In the same skillet, add remaining flour to the drippings and cook until bubbly (1-2 minutes).
- Gradually whisk in chicken broth and cream until smooth; simmer for about 5-7 minutes until thickened.
- Stir in soy sauce and thyme; return seared chicken to skillet, spooning gravy over top. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
