  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Gradually combine with dry ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Gently fold in cranberries and half of the sliced almonds.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle remaining almonds on top.
  6. Bake for 55-65 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before slicing.
